As a Patient Transporter, you play a direct role in saving the lives of our patients each day by serving our residents in a safe environment promoting long term recovery. You will partner with the Clinical Director and Executive Director to establish and maintain a therapeutic environment and routine for our residents.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Ability to work on your feet for long periods of time (up to 6 hours).
  • Ability to handle physical workload as well as physical tasks within the job.
  • COVID –19 Vaccination approved exemption status.

Duties:

  • Traveling to and from appointments with clients and staff members in a company vehicle.
  • Observe client behavior and determine need for medication dosage adjustments, medical events, and patient arrival times for appointments.
  • Receive necessary documentation from clients regarding medication actions or any other issues relating to the care of the treatment plan.
  • Document information on clients’ weekly charts as needed.
  • Receive assistance in dealing with client questions regarding treatment as needed from staff members as well as completely trained staff members.
  • Receive training in dealing with clients and completely trained staff members when needed.
  • Maintain communication with Referral Team and Clinical Staff as needed to assist in all areas of life-support needs including but not limited to medication monitoring, physical activity, personal hygiene, etc.
  • Monitor client levels on methadone and buprenorphine by administering dosage adjustments as needed. Also monitoring for emergence symptoms which indicate the need for additional dosage changes. Also monitoring for signs of withdrawal, which are typically observed upon transition from buprenorphine-based treatment to oral buprenorphine during transition from oral buprenorphine-based treatment to mixed buprenorphine-opioid treatment.

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $16.67 - $33.81 per hour
